This was not the kind of money laundering, I'd been expecting

I decided to go out for a pizza today, as Ulrik is at work, doing a night shift, and I hate making "dinner for one"...

Heading out the front door, I noticed that my trusty credit card holder wasn't in my pants - so back into in apartment to look for that little silvery case...

After much searching, checking all the usual places, I started to worry... "When did I last see it?  Oh yes, at the bar last night, ordering drinks".. could I have been pick-pocketed?

Then it dawned on me, and I skipped down the stairs to the basement and our washing machine... In the pile of wet, clean clothes waiting to be put into the dryer was the 501's I'd been wearing last night - and in the side pocket was my credit card holder, surprisingly clean and sparkly...

Fortunately I didn't have any notes (or coins) in the pocket - Good thing I seldom carry any cash as you can pay most places here in Denmark with credit and debit cards like the ubiquitous "Dankort" (a very popular Danish debit card due to it being rates- and fee-free)...

So - my worry now is whether the chip on the cards (Dankort/VISA and Mastercard, respectively) have been damaged in any way...

I'll probably find out in just a minute as I head out for the pizza that crossed my mind about an hour ago!

Just to be on the safe side, I'm going to try the cards at an ATM first - It's so embarrassing to get your order and then not being able to pay ;-//
