MTEL results and an NECW weekend
I got my MTEL results in today. Even better than I thought they'd be. 70 is a qualifying score for every test. My results:
Communication and Literacy Skills
Reading: 93
Writing: 82
Visual Art
Score: 64
Yeah, so I didn't pass the Visual Arts test. I knew I wouldn't, but I was closer than I thought I'd be. Now I know how to prepare for the next time I take it. Shows how well those art history classes in college prepare you...lol.
I had two shows this weekend for NECW. The Friday night show had me against the Logans and Rave in a 3-way tag match. I don't even know why they bothered putting me in there. Sure, I appreciate the work but I did virtually nothing and the match would've been better without me. Saturday night was more fun, but again I felt as though there was no need for me. The only upside was tagging with the girl that was visiting from Ireland. That's a rare opportunity I was surprised was given to me. Of course, it was only given to me so I could once again be shit upon. Even though I technically won the match, I lost. I may be the longest running jobber in the company at this point.
I'm starting to get aggravated there. I've been stuck as a heel recently which I don't understand as I'd been told many times before I should never work heel. I'm not good at it either, at all. I'm trying to figure out exactly what's holding me back. I know I was inconsistent at shows, so I've tried to fix that by showing up to them all for the past few months. I know I'm not practicing right now, but I already completed a year while those who have only been around for a matter of months pass me by. I'm not sure what I can do. Not to mention I'm about to have my finisher stolen and no one gives a rat's ass because it's only me. If someone else was gonna do that crap they'd get instant heat. Despite the constant compliments I get after matches, I never get a shot. I just want a chance, that's all. Someone please give me some advice.
