Wizard World and the weekend

Busy, busy weekend. Friday night I went to Seekonk for the start of Slamtech's now-monthly shows. Of course the booker forgot I was coming so I didn't have a match on the card. Another wonderful example of how much respect I get. Fortunately someone didn't show up, so I took his slot and ended up having a fun match, even though I suck at working heel. For those interested, I'll be working a show in Dedham next Saturday night. Should be a good time, contact me for details.

Saturday we got the League together and headed to Wizard World Boston. I expected it to be cool, but nothing really spectacular. I was wrong. We were there for about 7 hours, it was so much fun. The tickets were only 20 bucks and we more than made up for that price with all the free stuff we got. Arrow and Lantern took some pics which I'll post some of once I get them myself. We'll definitely be going back next year. After the convention we got some dinner at Friday's and hung out at Arrow's place for awhile. A very cool day overall.

Today (Sunday) was my family's annual apple pie-making day. Every year we sit down and make a stockpile of apple pies for the year. It's nice to have a big freezer. This year we totaled 23 pies, tying our record from last year. We already dug into the first one, sooooo good.
