Aside from the fact that this was a very gentle, sweet and satisfying story, I think it says alot for the power of fear, and how we learn to overcome it. Phobias aren't funny for people who have them, and you treated this with respect and patience. I appreciate your measured, steady buildup of overcoming the fear, and how Hermione treated Severus (even her all-too-human impatience with him at times).

This was a very responsible story, and I applaud you like crazy, Mystery Author!
