New SSHG Awards coming soon!
It has been several years since I've posted on this comm, and you're probably surprised to see a new post now! But I have some very exciting news to share.
Many of you have messaged me over the years to ask if we were planning on another round of the SSHG Awards. Unfortunately, my life has been insane, and I just didn't have the time to put in the required amount of effort to pull off another round. That has not changed.
BUT ... others do have the time and energy, and a new SSHG Awards comm will be taking up the reins! Go check out sshg_ficawards for more information. They're still figuring things out (i.e. their rules and how things will run), but they should be ready to go very soon!
This comm will still remain in place but inactive. I am planning on cleaning things up a bit to make it easier for people to search for fics. All nonessential posts will be deleted, leaving only nominees and winners lists. This will be the last post here.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who supported this comm during its heyday. There were many people who helped out in various ways--you know who you are! I know I thanked you then, but I want to thank you again! I couldn't have done it without you. I'd also like to express my profound gratitude to everyone who nominated and voted--thank you for helping me give something back to those who gave me and you and so many others so much joy.
