A change in rules ...
There has been a lot of discussion over the weekend about the idea of limiting the number of awards a story/author is given. After much thought and consideration, I've decided to get a more concrete idea of what the community wants. Please consider these options, and their ramifications, so that you can make an informed decision.
1. Leave things as they were in round one: A story can be nominated in two categories per round; an author can have only two stories in one category. No further limitations.
2. Keep the proposed change mentioned last week: In addition to #1, an author is limited to five nominations per round.
3. Scrap #1 and #2: Just limit authors to one story per category.
Now discuss away, and read what others say. Just play nice, please. On Wendesday, March 5, we'll put up a poll.
And just a reminder ... these awards exist in order to recognize the best our ship has to offer. Let's keep that in mind, please, as we nominate and vote.
