I was just looking for something to read and ran across a story I hadn't seen before. I was browsing through the chapters to see if it was any good, and there was a spoiler for Deathly Hallows in the author's notes! What kind of ... erm ... person (I'll be nice) does that? I was doing so well at remaining unspoiled, too! Crap. I hope it isn't

If it's any consolation, I don't think any of the book has been leaked. There are too many versions floating around, and I have a feeling they're all courtesy of JKR and publishers.

I think you're probably right about none of the book really being leaked. I adore your conspiracy theory about it being JKR and publisher leaking all these different "spoilers." Such Slytherin thinking. I love it!

Yeah. Things like that just aren't done.
There are thousands who believe that the book has actually been leaked. But there are an equally large number of people who believe that the spoilers are faked. After weighing both, I think that most of them are fake. So, don't worry.

Yes, that is what bothered me. To put it in an author's note and just randomly, too. ARGH! My only consolation is at least it wasn't about Snape or Draco or the trio. That would have really ticked me off.
