Farewell, OWL
OWL wasn't my introduction to HP fan fiction -- in fact, the site was the last I discovered. However, it was the first place I ever downloaded a story -- a little 100-word drabble that I agonized over whether even bothering to post. It was Christmas Day, 2006. Seems like a lifetime ago now.
A huge thank you to those who worked tirelessly in an often thankless job to provide authors a place for their work. An even bigger thank you to those who revitalized the site a few years back, and to those who tried to keep things afloat during difficult times. You know who you are.
