Announcing the Arrival of Aeryn Brigala Price
I just got off the phone with my father. My step-mother just gave birth to my newest (half-)sister. She was in labor about 12 hours, and had the baby at home, with midwives in attendance. They don't have a length or weight for her yet, as a result, but the midwives are guessing about 9 pounds. My father said, and I quote, "She's big."
Congratulations to them! I'll probably go up for a visit in a couple of weeks, according to my father's estimate of when they'll be ready for/need/want me to go up there.
I'm way more excited and tearfully happy than I expected to be. No pictures yet, but when I have some, I will post them.
ETA: Note the change of spelling. I like that a whole lot better, and it goes better with Brigala in print.
