Illegal aliens
My mom sent me tthis long email (which I won't post here) about how we should get rid of all the illegal immigrants in the country (it was a chain letter she sent me, at least she didn't write it).
This is my response and I was wondering what people thought. Am I way off?
America is the land of the free the home of the brave.
The people who founded this country were illegal immigrants. But they didn't stay and work for lower wages, they slaughtered the original inhabitants.
If you removed all the illegal aliens in this country the cost of most things (especially produce and construction) would double and would then create an even larger poverty group that would be more dependant on federal funded assistance thus cutting into our social security and welfare costs even more.
With illegal immigrants you get the benefit of slave labour costs without the overall federal burden.
And the only reason they can get work is because to many American would rather be lazy fat asses who would rather sit around and collect a government check then get out and work at what is in that industry, a competitive rate.
It's illogical from the hip no thought involved bullshit.
