ok,before going into details of today's epi,two things....
I've been listening to Billy Joel for the past two weeks almost continuisly,so it was very amusing to me that his song(played over and over too) cause Wilson to smash that mirror.*g*
Second, I absolutely LOVED that Wilson bought used floormats for the passenger seat.:DD Shows he really knows House too well.;)
To the sweet parts....well I loved House waking up in the car and seeing Wilson and then smiling. :D The quote "You love me too much." is just adorable. House acted so much like a sulky child,*I* wanted to hit him,I was surprised Wilson was so patient(and Wilson obviously watches a lot of youtube...or MacGyver, that wire with a hook and flashlight were fun to watch.;)
Finally we get to hear how they met(thank God to find out they've been friends long before the infarction and it was House that pursued him:D). It wasn't done in overly-dramatic way with bright flashbacks or anything which I really liked(would've still liked the version DS was originally going for, with "Another three stories" idea. I guess I'm not too surprised why Wilson didn't complaing about bailing House out during the Tritter arc. Tritter could've mentioned it thought during his investigations...although,I'm giving the writers benefit of the doubt and pretend that Tritter found about it but it wasn't much of a blackmailing material and Wilson decided to testify against House anyway,so there was no need to use it.
I'm still thinking of time-frame here...is it 15 years or 17?
Must also say House's mum is great! She's showing a face of normalcy and calmness,nothing-is-wrong attitude to others(she even deceived House obviously) and yet she can be very manipulative(calls Wilson to make sure House came, telling House to do the speech for her just after hugging him and telling how happy she was to see him),can read others easily and hated her husband or at least did at some point..she's like a female, older version of Wilson now that I think about it, the way he portrays himself to strangers-unless he hears Billy Joel played one too many times..
I'll skip the speech but I have to mention that stealing his dad's DNA was such a House thing to do,and Wilson noticed it immediately*big grin*. Wonder how it looked to others when they were standing so close before the coffin.;)
House pintpoined Wilson's problem very accurately me thinks, there's been enough evidence throughout the series that shows this and it was so sweet...ok not exactly sweet as in fluffy, but still....that he called him on this. Wilson is afraid to lose the one thing that matters to him the most so he pushed it away. And he was sad and angry because he's afraid of losing House so he tried to cut ties.*sniffs* awwwwwwwww
They've both been pushing people they cared most about away in order not to get hurt, until each became the most important person to the other and there was no one else to run to...
And we know they have fun with each other and their relationship is never boring!:D If there was one moment I really adored(besides the final scene), it was the DDX and Wilson having the epiphany. House's face when he asked "this is fun, right?" was so great.
Final scene of course was the best...House asking if Wilson came to the office only as a colleague, Wilson saying that maybe you can't chose friends either and continued with telling that he might be coming back to which House asks (in a very vulnerable voice,I think) if he's only attracted to the shine of his neediness..which would be cool with him as well(aw).Wilson's response was great, obviously writtern by Doris Egan.:D A smile and saying being around House is fun and that House was right...and it all ended with a dinner (I assume at House's place since it was a bit late for caffeteria.:P)
In short, wheeee....and i can't get mmmmbop out of my mind.....jeez:P
And just after BL yesterday where Denny said he was Alan's true love(sans sex but still) and Alan didn't deny it.;)
