it's not often that i get excited anymore...
haha i wish... but seriously i'm goin nuts over here... i found a killer deal on a pair of skis online. i saw his post in my newschoolers forum and i was like wha wha what?!?! 2 pair of skis for $300 (they retail for over $1200). i'm meeting him up at stratton on sunday to pick them up... otherwise he'd ship them to me for free. thing is... i couldn't figure out why he would be willing to sell skis like that for so cheap. so i did a little snooping around(his e-mail address made it kinda obvious).
it turns out that this guy is a cameraman for some really sick riders in the area. including some very well known pro skiers. his website(www.h30films.net) has a really good trailer to a ski movie that he is producing. it's one of the best trailers i've seen for any ski movie so far. *is in shock* it's like having your favorite band offer you their guitars for next to nothing. Mike Nick was pretty much the first pro skier i ever heard of. he co-invented the skiblades and won pretty much all of the competitions for them that they ever held. it's funny cause he's a skier now, and guess what? i've been desperatly wanting skiis too. weird eh?
i guess i'll find out sunday if this is for real.
gotta run to the bathroom and clean up after myself.
