On Thursday night Dave and I went to the Canada's CFO of the Year Awards. It was a black tie dinner at the Royal York and we got to stay over and everything. I got to see how the other half lives when you have an expense account to pay for everything. Some of the expenses included:
$375 dinner/plate (insane!)
$230 for booze
$185 for the room which was a pretty good price actually
$25 for breakfast in bed for me
$8 for a bottle of water
$16 for high speed internet access for 24 hours
$33 for valet parking
$80 for two chicken fingers dinners and a bottle of wine
$15 for 4 cups of coffee...
And I wore my $30 dress from Winners and looked like a million bucks!
