and yet one more part of my youth is lost to time
overall, this break has been awesome, all 3 days of it so far, except for tonight. tonight was sad.
Korbel, my mom's cat for the past 12 years, had to be put to sleep tonight. he was in the fourth and final stage of kidney disease, the same illness that claimed our oldest cat, Kit Kat, 13 years ago. it was obvious he was ill so tonight my mom finally broke down and took him to the animal hospital rather than our usual vet, who apperantly has really started sucking lately. since the start of the summer he went from weighing 17 lbs to the 9.5 he weighed tonight. its sad. whats frustrating is we just found out he had advanced kidney disease tonight despite being in the vets office and having blood drawn and tested 3-4 seperate times in the past couple months.
theres significant other things going on right now also but im not in the mood to talk about it really right now
