I didn't know Princess Zulu would be so exciting. Despite the fact that I will fail my math quiz miserably tomorrow, today made me feel pretty good. Me and Heather "adopted" (decided to sponsor) a kid today. Her name is Grace and she's 10. Her birthday is in July and we're sending her, her brother, and sisters bracelets. We get to write her letters too. I'm most excited about the letters.
At dinner she talked a lot about the state of "African Americans," the whole tree without roots thing and such. Backgrounds and everything. *sigh*
