AHH! Today I saw PJ on the Japanese-American channel! Yeah, it was UBER excitng... not really though. Anyways, here`s some Japan stories...:
So yesterday, me, Adrienne (another exchange student), and her sister megumi (who`s Japanese) decided to go to Kokusai street. Addrienne wanted to by an ERO HON (a Japanese porno magazine) to send to her friend at boy scout camp. Haha. So we went to a nice little store called FAMILY MART. Then, we went to the post office, but apparently, it`s unheard of to seel envelopes at the post office. So we had to go searchign around for a book store... Finally we found an envelope, but it was a really weird Japanese one that you had to wrap with string, and we couldn`t figure out how to do it.
After that, we wondered around kokusai street, and were being loud and obnoxious, and Megumi decided we were being to embarrassing, so she ditched us... Think of this: to stupid American kids, with very little Japanese language skills, wondering around in Japan, searching for a monorail station.
We finally found it, after getting wrong directions from numerous Japanese people. We travled to "Naha Main Place", which is the actually name of the area, and went to Quickley, which is a slurpee shop kind of place with a really annoying song that plays over and over. We were sitting down, drinking our quickleys, and there were three random guys who went to Adrienne`s school sitting near us. We deicded to try to talk to them in Japanese, but I think they were scared of us. After, we went to McDonald`s for food. Here`s what happened.
Josh: miruku sheki to Potatofurai ritai. (I want french fries and a milk shake)
Japanese guy: *Says something in Japanese, and hands me my frnech fries*
Josh: miruku sheki mo ritai. (I want a milk shake too)
Guy: Aranai. (We don`t have milkshakes)
Josh: *Sees poster of milk shakes and point to it* Kore ga ritai! (I want that milkshake!)
Guy: Aranai! (We don`t have it you foolish boy!)
Girl: Sold out.
Josh: *Runs away sad, but yet happy, stuffing face with french fries*
By the way, if your still reading by now, you have no life, but yet, I`m the one that did all this dumb tsuff, but I`m in Japan, which makes it cool. Haha.
Ok, after the McDonald`s fiasco, we went to Pachinko, which is a arcade by day, and Casino by night. We met up with Megumi there, and we were getting addicted to the claw machines. Me and Adrienne really wanted these sweet Japanese keychains, but it was 8 oclock, and that means it`s casino time. Megumi had to leave since you had to be 18 to stay i nthe casino, but since we were American, they didn`t know how to tell us to get out. So we stayed in the casino. $20 later, I won a keychain. It made my day. Adrienne had to get home at 9, since Umizaru was on. It`s like the best show ever besides Sui 10 (The Gorie show). Adreienne invited me over, but when I thought they were driving me to their house, her mom dropped me off at the monorail station. Weak.. Apparently it was already late.
Ok, so I walked home in hte ouring rain, got lost, and died.
The End
