I recently ordered your "Best of" and "Covered" CDs and finally received them today. Excellent!
I am writing to you noting that the print quality of the CD labels and inserts are a bit lacking (the labels are off centered and the inserts are cut and folded badly).
I work for a company called CD\Works out of Boston. We handle CD duplication and replication jobs. I was wondering how much it cost you to have these CD's made and what quantities were manufactured. We would be interested in working with you for future runs of these CDs or future CDs, as I feel we can offer you a better quality final product. Let me know what you have been paying, and I can play around with our numbers and get you some custom quotes.
Thanks guys!

P.S. My "Covered CD", skips like MAD. Can I send this back and get another copy? Did you think of maybe selling these albums like on iTunes as downloads? I'd almost rather have these albums as downloads since the product I received is rather shoddy (the traycards are all cut wrong and ripped up on the edges!)

No need for a refund bro. I actually was able to copy the songs to my ipod so alls ok. You guys are still my favorite band and I have no problem buying ANY merch from you guys in order to keep this great band going. In the end it's the music that counts, right?
To be honest, our straight pricing is rather expensive...but if you can tell me what quantities you are looking for and what prices other shops have given you, I'd gladly check with my boss and our vendors to see if we can end up getting you a good deal, well below our standard pricing. It would be a personal honor to help you with any production in the future.

p.s. my drummer Ken and I (the 2 drunken fools that offered you guys beers in Hartford) are really hoping to take a big road trip to see you guys with Bad Religion and Pennywise in the coming weeks.
