God is a sadistic asshole.
He's like that childhood friend that would be all cool and everything when you had campouts and sleepovers, getting you icecream and sharing his comicbooks and stuff, but the second you were both hanging out with more kids from the neighborhood, he would constantly be playing tricks on you to make you look foolish so he could impress everyone else.
