I was reminiscing with a friend of mine earlier about the crazy Smash parties we used to have. We'd get like 15-20 people together and take someone's tv to the community pool where we'd plug it in near the bathrooms away from the water and in the shade. We'd bring coolers, grills, food and drinks...anything we could think of..and we'd sit there playing Smash Bros. from whenever we started til about 6 in the morning (or until some bitch-ass neighbor decided to call the cops on us for making too much noise..which was usually what happened). I used to love these parties, man, it was a blast...we hardly ever do it anymore because everyone either works or goes to school all the time now.
Anyways, here's where the addiction part comes in. One day I had to go to work but another one of these pool get togethers was going down. I looked at my controller for about five seconds then called work and told them I couldn't come in. My boss said that I had to or I was fired..so I told her not to bother because I was going to have to quit :grins:
That's right, I quit my job to go play Smash Bros. Sad, sad man that I am...I was wondering if you all had any similar stories of undeniable Smash-Addiction?
