Title- Blooming Works
Authoress- Ssam_ssam
Summary- Fireworks... They bloom at night when you can see the light at its brightest... (I can't write a summary to save my life... T^T But...)

(NOTE: Words that are underlined are them speaking English. Normal words are them speaking Korean. Just to stop any confusion XD)

Children smiled as they colored, scribbled, and painted their fireworks.

A pink tongue stuck out between two pouty lips. The teacher came up and smiled at the little boy.

"Hey Micky, how are you doing?" Yoochun responded to his English name and nodded.

"Fine..." She nodded and walked around to talk with the other children. A knock interrupted her talk with Rachel and the teacher stepped on over towards the door. She smiled and squatted close to the ground cooing at something behind the door.

The teacher stood back up and nodded to the adult figure. She led a small boy with caramel colored hair in. He looked around until his eyes met Yoochun's.

"Children, this is our new student. His name is Xiah Kim. He came all the way from Korea! Let's be friends with him, all right?" The other kids nodded, but Yoochun went back to coloring his fireworks.

"Micky, can I talk to you for just a moment?" Yoochun nodded, "Yes, Mrs. Brooks?"

"You're from Korea aren't you?" A nod.

"Do you mind if Xiah here sits next to you?" Yoochun shook his head and moved his bag off of the chair next to him.

"Thank you, Micky. You can also help teach Xiah here some English!" Junsu nodded and waved at Yoochun. He returned the small gesture and went back to drawing his explosions on his piece of construction paper.

"Is... Name... Micky really?" Xiah struggled as he scrunched up his face trying to speak English. Yoochun just smiled and spoke softly in Korean, "No, it's really Yoochun. Micky's just my English name."

Junsu smiled and nodded, "My real name isn't Xiah either! It's Junsu... Why are you drawing lines everywhere?"

Yoochun looked at his drawing.

"Well it's the fourth of July tomorrow. So we're just drawing fireworks."

"Why?"

"I don't know really... Something about Independence from Britain or something like that... I don't think it's really that important" Junsu nodded and grabbed a pink piece of paper and started on his fireworks.

After school they both walked home holding hands.

"Come over to my house! We have lots of snacks!" Yoochun just nodded and was dragged by the light haired kid.

Years passed and they were inseperable, classes together or spending time with each other outside in the sun.

Yoochun sighed and tapped his pen on the book Junsu was reading.

"One more time Su. Who is William Shakespeare?" Junsu groaned and slammed his head against the thick, dust-covered book.

"Chun, do I have to learn this?" The pen flew from Yoochun's hand and hit Junsu's forehead.

"I mean... Do I... Learn... God damn it! I'm leaving!" The librarian shushed them one more time and Junsu just stomped his way out. Yoochun sighed and packed his bag. He quickly ran out after Junsu, ignoring the glares from the old, crusty ladies behind the counter.

He looked around to see Junsu headed towards the park.

"Su! Wait up!" Junsu only quickened his pace, but he tackled to the ground and Yoochun smiled.

"I said wait up." Junsu pouted and rolled away from Yoochun.

"I don't like English... You know that." Yoochun laughed and spread his arms.

"Su! You've lived here through elementary school, middle. We're in eighth grade and yet you still don't know how to speak fluently?"

"I hate you." Junsu said in English, crossing his arms over his chest. Yoochun smirked and hugged Junsu.

"No you don't." They stayed like that until the sun disappeared from the sky and the first stars twinkled in the dim blue sky. The first firework flew into the sky and bursted into hundreds of colors.

"Happy fourth of July." Yoochun said.

"I thought you said that this day wasn't important." Yoochun kissed Junsu's cheek and Junsu looked at him.

"I... Was wrong and young. Today is very important." Junsu smiled and watched the fireworks bloom in the sky like flowers.

"Happy Fourth of July, Chunnie." Yoochun smiled and watched the fireworks with Junsu until the light of the sun woke them both up.

Junsu squinted and glared at the harsh sunlight. He pulled his hand up only to see Yoochun's hand linked with his. He smiled and slowly untangled their fingers.

Cool air rushing at the places of his hand that were warm. He looked at the time and shook Yoochun awake.

Junsu knew from experience that Yoochun was never a morning person.

"Five... Five more min... utes." Junsu huffed and glared at Yoochun.

He even speaks English in his sleep!

He poked Yoochun's large forehead and he peeked one open and glared the light.

"What do you want?" Junsu tapped his Winnie the Pooh Bear watch and smiled. He leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"Time for breakfast. You big loser." Yoochun grinned and stood up with the help of Junsu.

"What are we waiting for?" The two 14 year olds ran towards a nearby restaurant hand in hand.

(10 years later)

A phone rang and a small hand picked it up.

"Moshi moshi?"

"Seems like you get Japanese better than English, huh Su?" Junsu laughed and nodded even though he knew Yoochun couldn't see it.

"Hai."

"When are you coming back? I thought you said we would spend the Fourth of July together."

"I'll be back soon... But I don't think I can make by then. Sorry Chun."

"Hey, don't beat yourself up for it. You said you had an important meeting. Of course you have to be there..." Junsu felt depressed when he heard his boyfriend sigh.

Then he heard a ringing in the background and Junsu's doorbell to his apartment rang a second after.

"Chun can you wait a minute? Someone's at the door." Junsu opened the door to see Yoochun smiling with a phone held up to his ear.

"No problem Su." He shut his phone and stuck it in his pocket.

Junsu almost fainted when Yoochun hugged him tightly.

"Why... How?" Yoochun waved a plane ticket.

"Plane... Duh. What? You though we weren't going to spend our 20th Fourth of July together?" Junsu covered his face with his hands and muffled a soft, "I hate you."

Yoochun just grinned and hugged Junsu close, "I love you too. Can you believe that we've been going out for this long and not be married?" Junsu only giggled and slapped Yochun's arm.

"Oh shut up. You big doof." Yoochun returned that slap and they both made their way to the roof top.

They both watched the fireworks they lit fly into the dark sky, making them look even brighter. Yoochun leaned into Junsu's ear and whispered, "Marry me?"

Junsu giggled and nodded while playing with a sparkler. He watched his lover with amusement etched onto his face.

Best Fourth of July ever.
