My Weekend
Well this weekend was probably one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. It started off kinda rough, but ended wonderfully.
Friday, I was really excited and energetic, which was very different for me because it was 8:30 in the morning. I found out the night before that I was helping out with or pretty much in charge of the morning meeting, which I've kinda done before, I've helped out, but never really been in charge. I found out from Steve when I stopped by Foot Locker when I randomly went to the mall, which ended up with me buying new shoes, which I totally love, they're so cool! Anyway, I was energetic and excited, but then after the meeting things kinda went down hill. I was talked to by like 4 different people within about an hour, so my really excited energetic mood was pretty much shot down, burned, and then pissed on. So after that I was a little pissed, which was really weird, cause I've never been pissed at work, depressed maybe, but never angry or pissed. So once Brent got there I was like, yeah, I'm a little pissed right now, so to prevent taking it out on a random customer I'm gonna go on my lunch now. Then once I went on my lunch things got better.
Then after that, I went home, tried to get ahold of Crystal to see what the plan was with the movie, but she had to move some stuff, so it didn't work out. Fortunately Alyssa had texted me and invited me to join in on their movie, so I was like when? We ended up going to see Van Wilder 2 The Rise of Taj, which was hilarious, I loved it! Then cause it was just 9, we were like now what? We ended up going to Hy-Vee and then went to my house, hung out, and then played some Guitar Hero 2 till I think 1.
Then Saturday I slept in till about noon cause I wanted to. Then got ready, cleaned up by vacuuming a little, and then Alyssa and Bjorn came over and we hung out for a little bit and then we were like, we should put a movie in, so we watched Superman Returns.
After that I went to Best Buy to meet Crystal for hanging out. We went to the Cafe in Barnes and Noble at the mall and just sat and talked and got to know eachother. Then bumped into Nancy and talked to her for a little bit, she gave us free curly fries from Arby's. Then we went to go see Borat, which was different, but still funny. If you don't get offended easilly go see it, if you can easilly be offended, never see it. Some parts of that movie were hilarious, but others were like huh? After the movie we went over to Cole's cause he was having a little party, but when we got there everyone was gone cause they went to get food. Then when they got back we pretty much left, we said we were gonna come back, but never got around to it. We went to Tyler's party, which was totally cool. There were a ton of people there, there was the group of people that are always there, but then after that the rest of the people were new people, Megan and pretty much the whole group of people that always show up were like, I know like 2 people here. And to put this in perspective the group of people that always show up have like 10 or so people in it and there were like a good 37ish people there. It was packed! If you had gone to the Halloween Party and thought that was packed, it was empty compared to last night.
The party pretty much went on all night, I felt bad for Tyler cause he was tired and drunk and couldn't sleep cause there were too many people there. Not because it was too loud, becuase he had to watch over the house. I tried to help out by getting a bunch of people to leave with me and go to Perkins, and at first it worked, but then when we actually left, 2 people came with. And that was...interesting, but I'll get to that later.
I drank a little bit, but not too much cause I had to drive and work the next day. It was really fun, cause I went around meeting a lot of the new people, and hung out with a bunch of different people. Instead of just kinda sitting there talking to the people I know, I was walking around and mingling almost the entire party. It was so much fun! I met this one girl Chautae, who was really fun, and so were her friends Damo and "A-Monay". They went around the party trying to remember the names of everyone, and I was one of the few that they knew right away. At the end of the night, Chautae could barely stand and Tyler was leaning up against the fridge barely awake, and she was like, who are you, Tyler, I'm gonna call you David cause I know too many Tylers, and I was like hun, this is one of the guys who live here, really, well then I'm gonna call you Tyler and all the rest of them David cause I know too many Tylers and you're really cool.
After a while Chautae and I were just talking and stuff and then we started kissing, which was cool and all, but I was still sober and she was pretty gone. I stopped and told her that I felt bad and didn't want to kiss her a lot cause of that reason, she was like, why are you still sober, you need to drink more. And then told her friends, and then some people that walked by, who all tried to convince me to drink more, but I didn't. She was cool with that and seemed a little sad, but I told her we could still talk and stuff which made her feel better. So every so often when I'd be mingling and I'd bump into her she'd go up and kiss me then say sorry, she just really wanted to. And I didn't mind too much cause she was cute, and a little kiss every so often isn't bad, it's just making out and further that is bad.
Ok, Perkins. Well we went to Perkins at like 4ish and the people that came along were pretty drunk. One I knew from work a little bit, he's a new warehouse guy, so I don't see him too often and he's new so don't know him too well, but he's pretty cool. The other guy was some guy that was there and was starving. Well we get there, get seated pretty much right away and the guy that we don't know is pretty much being obvious that he's drunk. He's being loud, rude, and not talking the greatest. So then we deal with like 3 different people, which I thought was weird, but didn't really think it was anything. Then while we're waiting for our food, we're talking and the warehouse guy says that he's from red wing and that if we were there the cops would already be there. Then I look up and outside, and sure enough the cops are outside. I was like oh, damn. I was worried almost the rest of the time, but then the first girl we delt with was cleaning and the warehouse guy asked if they called the cops cause we were acting all drunk and stuff, she said no, but I'm paranoid when it comes to cops, so part of me didn't believe her, so I was still a little worried the rest of the time, but then the cop came in and it was Yemanie! I was so relieved, and that made me feel so much better! The little person in my mind was jumping for joy!
Then I slept till 1 cause I worked at 3, and then work wasn't too bad. I'm still in the contest! I thought I was for sure out of it cause last week really sucked, but I'm in the top 4! It's Cole, Dan, Me and Beth. I'm against Beth, and since I had a bad couple weeks I'm gonna really step it up this week and try my hardest to form print everything and get the complete solution to everyone! I want to go up against Cole next week! I'll lose to Cole I know that for sure, but it would still be fun to go up against him! I know I'll lose only because I had one form print today, and Cole had like 10, and he said that there were 3 or 4 apps in there.
I also offered to babysit Hunter for Cole if he needs one and I don't work, and he was like yeah definately, and said that he didn't think of me as someone that's good with kids, but when he saw me with Hunter last night he thought "Mike's gonna be a daddy!"
Ok, I really have to do homework now, and that was my weekend.
