2nd Striker Unit/Post-Mission Tears

Sep 30, 2011 23:23

(Yoshika's not in the right frame of mind for much of anything right now. If someone was to come into the hangar, they'd see a young Witch crouched next to her Striker Unit while softly crying to herself. She wasn't as upset about the incident with Lynette as she'd almost gotten earlier.

It was the time where she had her moment that she was most ( Read more... )

[Arika had been worried, obviously, since it was her family out there fighting, but she wasn't expecting to find Yoshika crying]

Yoshika?

...Arika!

(Oh no! One of two, which has now been upgraded to three, people who she never wanted to see her like this.)

[Here, Yoshika, have a big hug from your friend]

You're not hurt, right? Tsukasa said you weren't hurt.

(Yoshika hugs back, not wanting to let go of Arika for a moment)

I'm okay...

[ What's this? Crying? Certainly Char can't simply ignore that, could he? He's a gentleman after all.

He sits down next to her, on the floor. ]

I don't think Miss Sakamoto is angry with you. She doesn't seem to get angry easily, from my conversations with her.

(Yoshika has since started sniffling, as opposed to crying.)

B-but...I had the Neuroi in my sights, and th-then...I hesitated when it mattered most!

The Neuroi was destroyed regardless. If I had gotten angry at everyone who didn't live up to my expectations during the One Year War, it would have been a very lonely battlefield.

[ Char sighed. ]

Was it your first battle with a Neuroi?

...Y-yes, sir.

(Until then, she'd only heard about the various news reports of the Neuroi back in Fuso and even then it was limited information.)

What happened out there... we beat the Neuroi, right?

...Y-yes, we did.

(She wipes her tears before steadily standing up.)

[Have a hug from the Irgelion, Yoshika. She doesn't have huge tits like Lynette though, but her embrace is still warming.]

That's good then! So why were you crying?

(She sniffles while explaining what had happened on the mission, how she had hesitated during her moment.

Her tits might not be huge like Lynette's, but it was comforting to know she had friends watching out for her.)

[Frank is not familiar with this particular Witch, but he knows the unit as a whole. And he can't just ignore someone who clearly needs help.]

Just what exactly happened out there?

...!

(Yoshika relays what had happened with the Neuroi and their 'adversary' up until her moment.)

And that's what happened.

That was your first fight, wasn't it?

It's normal that those go rocky. In fact, that's better than everything going smoothly.

Yes, sir.

(She shows a confused look at his latter statement.) Really?

Yoshika, was it?

I have something I could use your help on...

...Y-yes!

(She wipes away her tears while standing up.) What's wrong?

Well, as I'm sure you already know, Tsukasa got roughed up pretty badly out there. Now he doesn't have any serious injuries, just general muscle strain and such, but this is the sort of thing that magic can help fix while science can't.

If it's not too hard, I'd like you to help speed his recovery a little bit...No pressure though, even if you don't do anything he should be out and about just fine in a week.

I'll do my best...

(She was feeling pretty drained, but if she had anything left...if she could be of help...)
