I'll be honest, it beats the heck out of the moon...when did you get back, anyway?

We followed your descent with HOME. It was a rough ride 'cause it's not really meant for atmospheric entry... but somehow we made it.

I heard about the attack. Sorry I wasn't there to help repel it.

We were lucky to make it down here alive. That was a highly advanced machine that attacked us. On the other hand, I didn't manage to sortie either...

Well, all's well that ends well. Now I'm going to enjoy the peace while it lasts.

Until everyone on board discovers I didn't bring any gifts after all.

Well, I'm not offended. I'm happy you seem to have gotten what you were looking for.

About the presents - everything in the graveyard was junk or stuff I had no heart to take from the old man. I'm no thief after all.

But, yeah! Gerbera Straight is exactly what I was looking for. Learnt how to use it efficiently, too.

I've known some sword users in my time who were fond of the whole "years-of-training" approach. Did you really master it in that short a time?

I learn quickly! I know the basics pretty well for now, and I know where to improve.

Also, my friend coded the master's moves into the Astray. Kinda cheating but it'll make Red Frame more awesome. Just wait and see!

If you've got a "Master"'s motion data, by all means use it. It's hardly cheating - that's just how mobile suits are designed.

'Course, I still gotta practice. At the time being, the old guy said I'm at his dog's level.

The dog can pilot a mobile suit on its own, but still.

...that doesn't do much for my own pride, either.

What, the dog? My grandpa always had many wise things to say. One of them was:
"There's always some weird shit out there. You have no idea."

So, don't worry about it.

Your grandfather was a wise man.

I know. Taught me a lot about being a Junker... 'course I want to become even better than him!

Speaking of weird stuff.
[Raises his glass.]

Since we met the Kool-Aid Man in space, I knew I had to taste the original flavor. Not too different from what Roger fished out, just less plaster.

I still can't believe anyone actually drank that from that strange monster...or in general. It's just sugar-water, you know.

Still tastes good, though! In colonies, sometimes it's lucky if you get sugar AND water.
