Eh, someone was bound to find out sooner or later anyway. Better if that happens early instead of coming to light later and causing an even bigger scandal.

Which is why we have over 50 powerful war machines on board and butt into various conflicts all the time. I don't think if the governments will buy that.

Even if the world governments won't acknowledge us, I still think we're doing a good thing out here.

Of course we do. It's just that "we try to make the world a better place" is a bit too nebulous for a mission statement.
