[Mad looked a little unsure now, casting a glance aside.]

[Mad's sounding a little confused here.]

I kinda thought that.... well... you'd want me to be better at other things too.

For me, it is enough that you love me for who I am. Nobody else is likely to give me that, so I want you to stay safe and nearby.

If I want sex, and you do not wish to provide, I can always bewitch some other crew member. If I want someone to, ah...play with, our vagabond nature means I have hundreds of people to choose from.

If you want to do such things, I can teach you. But I am happy with things as they are.

[Mad seems to get that, nodding slowly. Most people would be appalled at what was said. Mad, between hanging around the Clanners, having a shaky idea of what constitutes a relationship and other things just passed it off as a quirk.]
