[[Mio sees this hueg thing coming.]]

You... cannot be serious... That.... Why is Ghidorah...

[[Up until the monster mecha lands and Emmy is on her way out, Mio has a gun pointed at the machine.]]

Stop! That is my unit, Mecha King Ghidorah. It was built from a combination of bio organics and machinery so it is under my control. I assure you that you do not need to worry.

You'll understand if I can't believe that for too long. Things that come out of movies... usually aren't going to stay friendly for long.

[[Oh yes, someone said that before too, didn't they?]]

Okay, that is the second time someone has said something about me and movies. What does that mean? I thought I was just from a different dimension. Am I now supposed to be from movies too?

Mio does lower her gun. I can't speak for you yourself, but, that machine there is certainly part of a movie. A series of movies called Godzilla.

(Emmy just stares at Mio in shocked silence for a good bit. Finally, she finds the ability to speak once more.)

...I...am from a movie series? There is a movie series...about Godzilla? Why...? How...? I'm so confused and feel demeaned.

At least the machine you pilot is.

And that's not specifically stating that you are directly from the movies. It would most certainly not be the first case of something actually existing in another dimension as a real person or incident, rather than a fictional object.

Kamen Rider would be the biggest example I can fathom.

Ah, this is going to take some getting used to I suppose. I'm still reeling over the fact that I am in a different dimension. Even the time traveling I've been through can't compare. And now I find out that there is a movie series based on something that nearly killed me and has wrecked Japan on many occasions.

Wait, Kamen Riders? As in the show? Well, I suppose I should take comfort that I am not the only one in that boat.

Yes, the very same show. One of the mechanics here is a fanatic. There are several of them on board as well, though, it seems to be the case that most of them are not from any sort of televised material.

If it's other dimensions you're concerned with, you should meet with Tsukasa Kadoya. Such incidents seem to follow him regularly.

[[Once again, Onore Dekiedo!]]

I see. Alright, I'll try to find him. With some luck, I might be able to get back to my home dimension faster than I thought.

Thank you Miss...You know, I never got your name.

[[She salutes promptly.]] Major Mio Sakamoto of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing Strike Witches.

[[Maybe her military position will explain her lack of pants... These dimension's rules are weird, aren't they?]

(Emmy salutes back to her the second she hears the title.)

A pleasure to meet you Major. If you do not mind me asking, what is the 501st Joint Fighter Wing Strike Witches? Is it similar to the Global Defense Forces of my world in that you are the ones who fight Kaiju?

(Emmy is shrugging off the fact that Mio has no pants. Mio is the only one so far that she has met outside a mech so as far as she knows, it is just a strange custom in this world.)

To an extent. The world... Our world at least, doesn't have a unified military. Several attempts have only resulted in corrupt officials running them into the ground.

The Strike Witches, in short, are a specialized force focused against a particular species of... Kaijuu I suppose would be a good summary. They're called Neuroi.

(The is an intense look of interest in Emmy's eyes. She wanted to find out as much as she could about these Neuroi.)

That is interesting. So you are trained specifically to fight these Neuroi. Can you tell me what these Neuroi are like? What are their behavior, their abilities, do they appear within intervals or is it random when they appear? How do you fight them? Are they weak to any particular weaponry?

[[Mio gives her a general rundown using all the proper military terms for;
Yes, trained just for them, though they can fight other things (like mobile suits)
Most always in the shape of classic planes, hexagonal patterns
Consume landmass, LASERS, random but easy to track and predict
Mio's eye allows her to see INTO Neuroi and spot the core. Reveal and break that otherwise they'll just regenrate
Anything that'll hit the core works, but the outer layers must be broken away.]]

I'll bring you what files I can on them, but, nothing quite serves like experience.
