1.) [In the White Chalice]
Bernie could be seen polishing his green Gaza in MS mode. During his time in the Chalice, not only has Bernie been polishing, but also testing out simulations. He's still quite impressed by the Gaza's transformation ability.
Still, he carried a flame for his old buddy the Zaku II, and couldn't leave it unattended. He cleaned it as well, maybe more earnestly!
"I wonder if I should drive you again."
2.) [In Chartertown]
Bernie was in a comic store! One thing those graphic novels always had were captivating covers. The Zeon pilot picked up one that looked action packed. He looked surprised.

"Um...you guys? To you..what does the word 'family' mean to you?"
