What kind of "ally" condemns people who are part of your cause? The Irgelion people have been atoning for what we did for a decade. Why would you use us to incite anger?

[Got hung up on that, eh Sora?]

[Not the only one, Sora.]

He probably could have picked his words better.

... Then again, the DC's not too different from Thaumata.

I'm sure he did it on purpose. People remember that conflict, why not play on their fears that our intentions aren't as peaceful as we claim? [She sighs.] Damn him.

Thaumata? That's... the anti-space organization, right? Gets violent when it feels like someone's being too adventurous?

That's them. Hating space, going out into it, and people who come to Earth from there.

Right, right. Well, I don't like them much either. Guess we'll agree to disagree. Or at least, I will, and they can leave me alone, or else.

...Or maybe Dr. Bian's speech will convince them that there are greater threats at this particular moment. [The girl snorts.] Yeah, right, like that'll happen.

Definitely.

They killed Mr. Herrera... and they tried to make me kill Christine too and even blow up the Seattle Colony.

And it's not even your race he just condemned again. I know he's on our side, but it still pisses me off.

I guess we'll need his help to drive this threat off, though... ugh.

I've been saving the phrase "Curse your inevitable yet sudden betrayal" to be honest. I'm going to have to use it sometime.

[Sora blinks. Then she bursts out laughing.] Oh, that is priceless! I can't wait to see the look on someone's face when they hear it! Yeah, keep that one in stock.

[She sobers quickly as she continues.] I feel like we're going to need it sooner rather than later.

I really really want to use it. It's just too perfect. What was it that they called it back when we had internet? Memetastic? Yeah that's it.

[Eri nods, patting Sora on the shoulder.] Hey, don't let Biran get you down either, okay? If people are yelling about aliens, I'll just point to all the stupid crap Earthlings do.

Eh. You know as well as I do that we'd never have any privacy if the internet still existed. There'd be all kinds of sites dedicated to exposing all our secrets. Or worse, some kind of encyclopedia...

And I'll try not to let him get to me. He's definitely not on my Christmas card list, though. You don't need to remind people they're not perfect, it'll just make then hate Julia and I even more.

Like one of those old wikis or something. Yeah.

Don't worry, I'll sock anyone who looks at you cross-eyed.

Some kind of PreDesu wiki... probably'd have our birthdays and favorite foods, stuff like that. Like we were one of those magical girl shows. Although... we kinda are.

[Sora smiles.] Thanks, Eri. I'm hoping it won't come to that, but I'm counting on you if it does.

I'm sure we've got fans anyhow who collect merchandise of the robots at least. We appeal on a lot of levels as both performers and magical girls.

Heh no problem. [Pats.]
