Due to heavy repairs on Big O, Roger has been spending a lot of the down-time trying to research things about places that were not Paradigm City in hopes of finding some trace of the Union in somewhere else's history. He's been idling in three places, mostly:
[1] The mess hall, with reading material and notebooks full of frustrated scribbles. He was no historian, he was a Negotiator, and Negotiators never had to do this kind of work. He hadn't written this much note-work since he was in the Military Police school. He might call you over to his table, to ask you about your former residences and the history thereof?
[2] The library, searching for more of those reading materials, starting mostly with encyclopedias to get a broader sense of the rest of the world and volumes of designs of mobile suits and other giant robots to see if any of them had Big units in them. Still, research was not his thing, and he was sort of defeatist about it. Maybe you know where to find the book he's looking for?
[3] The hangar, watching the engineers and their banefully-slow repair work. "Your Big O is a different era of technology," they told him. "It takes time to reverse-engineer stuff nobody has seen since forever." Blah blah shut up, Norman would have had Big O sparkling like a diamond in less than three days. Irritated, he massages the space between his eyes more often than not. Is your mech being fixed or something, too?
