...I'm not that good at keeping secrets, though. Loraine and Maya each got pieces of the story, and Aidan got the whole thing. Cheng too, but that was right after he left to go fix up Gucun, so I guess it doesn't really count.

Well, I'm not really sure there's anything I can say that will perfectly convince you.

I'm volunteering to fight gods of death, for one. And I did bother to tell everyone instead of trying to hide or deny it. Even went and told the guy who's basically the Grand High Poobah of Gucun I pretty much blew up his country, while we were alone, and he was armed.

...Not exactly the best course of action when you're just trying to save your own skin.
