Signs of Snow

1) [Video]

[The video feed flickers to life on all available ship monitors; the camera is focused on one of many raised platforms in the hangar. After a few moments of non-movement, a woman almost too lovely to be real steps into view and centers herself on the platform. She turns and strikes a somewhat model-like pose that makes her appear sexy and relaxed, yet still comes off as natural. After a few moments to ascertain that the camera was working, she turned her gaze on the lens and smiled.]

Good afternoon, Chalice. My name is Ciel Auno, pilot of Desu Miki. As with many of your more recent arrivals, I am a member of Project PreDestiny; it was determined that I should join the efforts here on the Chalice in order to put my talents to more useful tasks than scouting missions and mock-battles with new recruits. I hope that our alliance is a fruitful one for both the Chalice and Fairy Park. [After a polite bow to the camera, the young woman continues.] Should you have need of me, I shall be in the hangars between 1600 and 1800, and will be available to talk with over the course of the next few days. If possible, I expect to see all other PreDestiny pilots at 1830 this evening. Until then; Ciao~

[And with that, the camera flickers off.]

2) [Between 1600 and 1800]

[Ciel is moving about the hangar, clucking her tongue thoughtfully as she looks over the other suits. Her eyes are filled with distant curiosity as she studies each one of them, noting the unique and interesting features when she sees them. At a sound behind her - a polite cough, a notably loud step, a shout from a stubbed toe, whatever - she turns and smiles genially.]

Lovely evening, isn't it. May I help you?

3) [Locked to PreDesu cast]

[Ciel glances over the array of girls before her with thoughtful eyes that flicker from one face to the next, sometimes pausing on one particular face, otherwise moving on to the next without comment. Her demeanor expresses mild disapproval for those girls in front of her with very rare exception, which is not uncommon; those who had ever had the misfortune of being her student might simply be relieved that she hadn't decided to humiliate one or another of the group yet.]

[After a few more moments of looking around, she sighs and places a hand on her hip. If you're familiar with Ciel, that's a good cue to brace yourself for the inevitable cold snap.] So, you're all I have to work with? Goodness, the Chalice's standards are lower than I'd expected. Though it seems your units are mostly intact; perhaps being thrown into the real world has forced you to mature? Or have the other pilots simply been pulling your weight for you?
