You mean the fact that it is just a celebration meant to prove you survived a year? If it is so great than we should throw parties every day we don't die. It makes no sense.

Well, yeah. But those celebrations are small, they happen all the time.

Birthdays happen only once a year! They're the time to go get hilariously drunk and do some things you can't quite remember in the morning.

Besides, I haven't celebrated a birthday since my eighteenth. I'm used to not celebrating it.
