Someone call me? [There's Shirley in a tanktop and shorts for once. She figured she'd better make a better impression and wore something, while tightly cut to her behind, nothing that isn't pantsless. Her jacket was slung over her shoulder.]

Shirley, these are my parents. Mom, Dad, this is my girlfriend, Lieutenant Charlotte Yaeger. [[Handshakes are offered by the parents.]]

Nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Haley. It's nice to finally meet the people who raised such a fine young man. [She shakes their hands with a wide smile.]

And yes, I'm from the military. The 501st Strike Witches, a Britannian team. There's a small group of us that are on board right now, our commanding office Mio Sakamoto riding herd.

[[Mom]] You are talking about this reckless little boy here, aren't you? Are you sure this is the real one?

Gah, damn mom! How the hell am I doing to get swapped out like that! I... I can behave myself!

[[Dad]] The Strike Witches. That would explain why his girlfriend was flying about without pants. And those other girls were... unrelated given their uniform and lack of equipment. [[Dad makes a point of stroking his goatee as if it were a rather thoughtful and epic thing to do.]]

The other girls and Chrono are related to another organization not from around here, although one of their members is from Earth. The man in the bat-themed armor is one of MarKus's much lauded Kamen Riders.

[[Mom]] Oh dear... Is that why he's still here?

[[And Pandora's box was opened.]] There's actually RIDERS here! Two of them right from the damn TV show! Then three others that are from this world. And even I... Wait, let me show you!

[[Shirley, you should probably keep him from running off to get the LeaBuckle]]

Hold on there lover-boy, you need to spend more time with your parents. You can show them the LeaBuckle off later.

[[Even his parents are flustered now.]] You haven't actually.... [[Mom is trying to be calm. Dad looks pretty cool about this!]]

[[Mom]] As long as you two are behaving yourselves. So, Shirley, why don't you tell us how you met. I'm sure MarKus will play it up like he usually does.

Well it wasn't too much of a stretch. Back a few months ago, we started talking about stuff. He was working on my strikers and wanted help. After that, we spent time together fighting together and we just sort of clicked.

[[Dad]] That sounds rather familiar, doesn't it dear?

[[Mom]] That it does. It certainly does.

So... you're saying it had nothing to do with protecting you from the Festum, right?

[[Parents: cue freak out.]] You've fought against them? The both of you?

Ah yeah, for about a solid two weeks. Don't worry, not a scratch.

Yeah, all you have to do is not think about it.

It wasn't all that hard, except for the black hole crap, but... We're both still here!

Interestingly, everyone kinda calls it the "Love Boat" incident. A couple people just got married a while back. [[The look on MarKus's face implies that he would like to be next. YOU"RE ONLY SEVENTEEN KID... stop fretting over mortality.]]

And we had another couple on the boat. For a while at least.

Yeah... But Ichi and Haruka kinda... fell through somehow.

[[Granted, MarKus's parents are probably bored of the subject! Good thing there's not much more to say!]]

In any case, your son's been a real help these past few months, keeping our machines in tip top shape. He's managed to work on so many different designs recently, from Gundams to magical robots.

[[Dad]] And none of them looked to be shooting off fireworks instead of live ammunition, so it would appear you're right.

That doesn't mean I haven't tried but... there are a few nutjobs here that I'd rather not be on the wrong side of. [[And he gives Shirley a look...]]

And a certain someone has me behaving more often than not.
