[Eri watched the video with a sort of wtf expression on her face. And she sighed.] Rallying that many people behind him is going to cost us in the long run.

As it stands, it might even cause problems with the PreDestiny Operations.

Considering the scale of damage wrought by the One Year War, that is an accurate assessment.

All the same, the question to concern yourself with is what will be done in the intervening time? Wars have been averted in the span of minutes, after all!

If anyone was sane on that ship, we'd need to get Char to stop being such a dumbass and try to wind the Zeon guys DOWN a little. But that's not going to work.

Someone needed to stop him before he actually did it in the first place.

And yet what is done is done. Though this is all the more reason for me to see to it I survive when all of this ends! Still, there is but one task I have left in Adventus.

... After that, I am perfectly content to leave.

And what is your task? I heard you're a historian from what the others say. So how much of that is raw unfiltered fact without the fluff?

I was a historian long before I joined Adventus, and even as a general I still remain one! And after I leave this organization I intend to continue my work, so future generations will be able to look back and know where humanity went wrong and where it went right!

As for my task... it is one that shall be undertaken soon enough; until that time comes I can only ask for your patience!

Well at least we know you're a truthseeker. That's always good to have.

So Mr. Historian how much do you know about Project PreDestiny can I ask?

I'm fully aware of Fairy Park's founding and the various lines of machines it has made over the years, as well as their notable sorties.

... This even includes a string of particular incidents that each ended in disaster. One of them even leaving you in a coma.

[Eri flinched as if stung, but held onto her expression.] So you know about me huh.

Since you're a historian you also know about DUNE, and her betrayal.

[He nods.]

Fairy Park has good reasons for keeping that covered up, at least for the time being. As for myself, I am a keeper of truth, but not necessarily its spreader.

Time and again, truth regarding one thing or another is released far, far too soon and ushers in only tragedy and calamity! I assure you, I understand more than nearly anyone that keeping something secret can be a wise choice... if only temporarily.

Good to know. If we get through this on amicable terms, I'll let you know when I have time to tell you the whole story.

Yeah Hana doesn't need to know just yet. She's got the weight of an entire legacy on her. The Tsubomi is not just an ordinary machine, even by Super Robot Standards. The stronger Hana gets, the more powerful it becomes. I need her to keep positive for as long as possible, since her confidence is in the pits probably right about now.

Perhaps.

But at the same time, do not forget that in my cultures, the words "crisis" and "opportunity" are one in the same. The project is not one ruled by nepotism; to be selected as a pilot is evident of her true strength!

That's true enough. Being selected for the program is a very specialized process, and everyone's strong because of it. In their own way at least.

Certainly sounds like the pilots are vetted more than Adventus's generals are.

We have our moments. I mean, you don't get to pilot a mountain-wrecking machine without some kind of qualification.

Considering the Hyperion is capable of that, I must admit I agree!
