[Frank is at the firing range, making sure his aim is as good as ever. He's not shooting a gun, though, that would be too easy! Instead, he has an assortment of throwing knives and small axes, and chucks those at the target. It's pretty far away, for throwing at least, but most of them hit the bull's eye or near it anyway

[Njall puts time on the range every once in a while with his rifle. He's just on the way out when he notices Frank's selection of weapons.]

Hey, don't see those kinds of weapons very often any more.

Sometimes it's faster to draw a knife than draw a gun. And normal bullets don't work on SEs.

There are definitely times when you just really need a good bladed weapon.

Each kind of weapon has its use. And if you want to be a good soldier, you need to know them all. If you just use one weapon, you'll get killed by someone using its counter.

(Tatsu sneaked in and is looking at the knives. The funny thing is that due to Tatsu's size the knives are the equivalent of a long sword, if not a bastard sword, to her. She swings them a few times to try them out and obviously is very interested in them. She turns to Frank.)

These like claws for humans?

Yeah. Watch out, that's a Sophium alloy blade. It can cut through metal.

(Tatsu carefully examines the knife.)

So how Tatsu use?

Hold it by the handle on the other side, not the blade.

[It doesn't seem like Frank considers talking with a small metallic lizard to be weird at all.]
