[ Char had spent the last week or so combing over the specs of his completed MSN-02 Perfect Zeon Char Custom, and had finally come up with a way to possibly upgrade the Zeong to allow for the use of melee weapons without compromising its own firepower. Due to the fact that the Zeong has megaparticle guns in each of its fingers, a traditional beam

She really didn't have any plan at all, but self preservation was first and foremost in her mind. She couldn't get caught, not now.
"I was on the ground during the battle I-" And then a brilliant idea came into her mind. "I was hit by some debris, and I'm... quite confused as to where I am. I think I might have a concussion. Won't you help me?" A lie of course, though walking in the snow for several hours has left he feeling a bit weak in the knees, and frozen to the bone. What man could deny a damsel in distress. And so to seal the deal, she let he knees go soft and she feel forward into him, her hands clinging to his lapels. She looked up wide eyed, begging with her eyes, and her body for his help.
Inwardly Adette cursed herself for not having a better plan, but God had given her certain assets, and when used correctly, the power of being a well built woman never failed her.

... Physically, anyway. Not pushing her away - it would be rude, after all - he looked into her face, his eyebrows narrowing a bit. "If it's shelter you want, all you needed to do was ask," he half-scolded, half-pointed out. Sighing, he looked over her shoulder, towards the lounge. "I suppose my requisition forms can wait," he said. He did have a back-up saved on his own private account aboard the White Chalice in case anything happened to it... he only felt he had a better chance of it being accepted if he delivered it in person.

"I'm sorry, I'm just..." she let her voice trail off as he looked her in the eyes. It was strange feeling the weight of his stare, but being unable to see his eyes. Why would this good looking man wear sunglasses inside?
What did he have to hide?
She let go of him, and lowered her head, acting defeated and delicate. Holding her hands together and rubbing them to try and banish the cold from them.
Somewhere in her mind she was doing her best to call up some tears, but that was a bit harder for Adette, she was not the type to swoon and cry very often, but she knew she needed to have a back-up plan. And when boobs failed to persuade, tears would not.
"Please?"
There was to much at stake, she hadn't the slightest clue what would happen to her if she was caught or recognized, but certainly it wouldn't be good.

"I already agreed," Char conceded, even though it wasn't exactly his place to do so. "If you like, I'll escort you to the medical bay." Security was fairly strong there. If she tried anything, she'd be stunned in minutes.

Damn. She was caught. And if he took her to the Medical bay she really would be in trouble. Damnit Adette... She cured herself, and chewed her lower lip.
"Ok, ok, ok." All of the sudden she gave up the whole act, and put her hands on her hips, and sighed. "You win. I'm a liar. I'm cold, and tried, and in trouble, but that's all." She look looked slightly irritated by her defeat. It wasn't often her tactics failed this badly. "But please don't turn me in, I'm not trying to cause any problems, I could... make it worth you wild."

Char awaited her answer, his eyebrow raised.

"I got left behind." She felt like a child being scolded by her father, but it wasn't as if she didn't deserve it. "I'm not here to cause trouble, break or steal anything, I swear! I was trying to find Gainer Sanga, I though he might help me, but it's quite likely he'll throw me to the dogs." Now it was she who fidgeted nervously, trying to spin the truth to serve her better. "They just left me there, in the snow, alone and it was nearly nightfall. What else could I have done? Laying down in the snow to dying isn't really my style." She shook her head a little, inside she was actually starting to feel a little bit sorry for herself, even though it was only part of the story.

"If you were simply seen as a deserter, the White Chalice would have no reason to turn you over. You must have done something quite wrong to warrant he amount of paranoia you're showing."

"I'm wearing a huge red jacket that says 'arrest me I'm from the Siberian Railway', how much more cause for worry do I need?!" And it was not as if removing the jacket would make he any less conspicuous.
"I'm not a deserter, I'm the deserted!" She thought of the day she dragged Gainer himself to prison, and it turned her stomach. Why should she expect one shred of kindness more than what he had already shown her, it was more than she had given him.
This whole things was a bad idea.
"If you want to turn me in, fine then, do it. I might be able to run faster than you on a good day, but today isn't one of those."
Her mission was a failure then. To find Gainer and thank him for saving her life when he had no obligation to do to, and for sparing Yasuba's life.

"I was an ace pilot with the Principality of Zeon during the One Year War. I was known as the 'Red Comet,' Char Aznable." He tried to smile, to reassure her as well. "If Captain Weston didn't turn me away, he won't turn you away, either."

Adette put her hand over her mouth and backed up a step. How could she not have known?
Stupid Adette, so caught up in your own schemes you miss out on the obvious standing right in front of you!
She allowed herself to be steered into the lounge, and though it was much to public for her taste, there was little that could be done about it. Her knees and calves where aching from the long trudge through the snow, and she felt spent and weak, her adrenaline levels plummeting now that her safety was no longer in jeopardy, at least for the moment.
"I'm Adette Kistler." She smiled back at him, and for a moment, she caught their reflection off a piece of glass, and was shocked at what she saw.
Standing there, blond hair, and red coats, with secrets to hide deep in their souls.
We look like siblings.
Adette had been raised by her older brothers after her parents death, but those days was just to painful to think about most of the time. Now she could not help but be flooded with the thoughts.
So she broke away from him and sat down, taking off her fur hat, and crossing her legs. The tops of her red leather thigh high boot peeked out of the slit in her jacket, and the revealed the tiniest flash of her milky white thighs.
"I'm sorry I tried to fool. You can understand though, I'm still not certain I won't be taken prisoner at any moment. I had to come... I had to thank Gainer for saving me, and for sparing Yasuba. I owe him... my life." That was the truth, if he was going to trust her at all, she had to at least reveal the truth behind her mission here.
"I came here because I cannot continue to try and stop Gainer Sanga, or his allies. Until the Exodus reaches Yappan, my honor as a woman, and as a warrior, tells me I must help him any way I can."

Char didn't exactly owe his life to anyone; Lalah was already dead, and wherever Artesia was, she was beyond his reach. It was both liberating, and somewhat depressing. "In any case, I'm sure you are safe here. I wouldn't have brought you to the lounge if I had thought any differently."

Adette looked over him him, and put her hand on his knee, this time not in a sexual manner, but with an air of empathy and understanding. She was glad for his reassurance as well.
"Thanks. I'm not sure how much longer I could have kept it up." She sighed aloud, and smiled, trying to lighten the heavy mood. She removed her hand from his knee as quickly as it had landed.
His words stirred things deep in her mind, but they would require further thought when her mind was not fatigued. She could not think clearly enough to to carry on a conversation about politics. Not having so recently left her faction, her love, and home.

"Gainer said something, she he shielded me with his Overman. He said 'The only thing I hate more than this Exodus is seeing innocent people being killed.' I think that something everyone can agree on, no matter what side you're from." And then despite herself, she yawned. As quick as she could, Adette covered mouth, and then smiled sheepishly at him.

Having said that, though, he folded his arms over one another, and leaned forward across the table, towards her. Not enough to be intrusive, but enough to emphasize his next point. "I do agree that it should be done peacefully, if at all possible, however."
