Valentine's Day Preparations

1) (Yoshika was humming to herself, having literally taken control of the kitchen with the exception of breakfast time, lunch and dinner. What was she doing that would require the use of the entire kitchen

(Is it breakfast time already? Or maybe lunch...either way, Yoshika smiles in Lucchini's direction.)

[None of the above? Lucchini just has the munchies, growing kid and all.]

Oh, Yoshika, I didn't know you were in here... [She does slip her hand into her pocket though and pulls out a small paper card. Someone got a little creative and made a few with happy wishes for her friends]

Yeah...! Kinda took over the kitchen for the day, you know? Getting ready for tomorrow. (She does notice Lucchini pull out said paper card, eyes widening a bit.)

Hmm? Did you make that, Lucchini?

[Julia might not have a Valentine's, but she still nomming on some chocolate as she sees Yoshika working.]

Oh? Got something planned for someone?

Y-yes! It's for Lynne... (Yoshika allows Julia to see a faint smile cross her face, her cheeks also somewhat crimson at the same time.)

So what is it, just chocolate or is it something a touch more special for her?

Well, I made sure to get her some chocolate but I wanted to bake a cake for her, too.

...Laura pulls up short at the extent of Yoshika's takeover.]

Yoshika? Is this... what are you making?

(Yoshika smiles at the other girl, not minding extra help but curious as to whether or not Tsukasa actually told anyone else she'd taken over the kitchen.)

Hi, Laura~! It's not much now, but it's gonna be a heart-shaped cake when it's done.

(Yoshika, did you forget to mention that it would also be miniature sized, not a full-size cake?)

Oh - it's... right. I forgot people in Fuso give gifts like that.

How are you getting on with it?

[She looks over the work in progress curiously. Does a cake generally require so much... infrastructure?]

Well...it's coming along good so far! It's not gonna be a regular-sized cake. I guess you could say it'll be just for Lynne and me to eat?

Oh, and I'll have some chocolate for her as well.

(Give her some time. Any infrastructure will pay off once it's in the oven.)

(At hearing Lynette's call, Yoshika entered into her quarters while pulling one hand from behind her back nervously. In it was a small box with a red bow wrapped around it; on top of the box was a red carnation dipped in water.)

Ahh...H-happy Valentine's Day, Lynne~!

(What Lynne would find inside the small box was some chocolates, but the other gift, the one Yoshika had commandeered the kitchen the day before, was behind her back in a slightly bigger box.)

(Yoshika took a moment to smile happily, gratefully, at Lynette while carefully placing the carnation down and holding up the second box.)

"...It's okay, Lynne! You could always wait until White Day; I can wait a month, no matter how long it might be.

I also made this for a little later...it's why I needed the kitchen yesterday."

They'll be sharing more than just the chocolates, even if the cake has to last them a few days.
