Sorry to disappoint, but I really didn't...I just showed up on his doorstep earlier that night asking for a place to stay. It couldn't have been more than an hour or so before everything went to hell.
...No. He was building the robot I went out in, and asked me to test out the "Sunlit Hero" mode for him as a favor for staying the night.
From the way he reacted, it seems that he was personally familiar with whatever caused that monster to appear, and that the Zweilicht was built to fight monsters like that one, but I didn't get much details.
It was only partially charged when I set out with it, though. I get the feeling that if it had been properly prepared, the Sunlit Hero mode would have totally destroyed that monster, instead of just disabling it.

No, not really. It's just time-consuming, that's all...
Frank, was it?

...That's Dr. Julius Reinhardt, the owner of the mansion we were around and this robot. He was killed by rubble before you arrived.
Apparently, it was part of some personal project of his. He gave me a drive with data relating to it, but I haven't got a chance to look over it yet.
