Marking the end to the escalating tensions between Japan and Britannia, Britannian Knightmare Frames landed in a direct attack on Tokyo. Scrambling to the docks, the EDF forces engaged the enemy Knightmare Frames in a battle in the streets. The Britannian forces showed remarkable tactics, quickly surrounding the EDF, but couldn't compare in terms of raw force.
Around the time that the enemy commander joined the battle, a small Titans force descended to the scene, led by Jerid, who had a personal vendetta with Kamille. The two fought brutally, with Kamille's superior instincts eventually leading him to victory. Meanwhile, Milliardo, Kallen, and Setsuna together managed to push the Britannian commander into a corner.
Before the battle could be properly decided, a space monster emerged from the harbor, and begin attacking all forces indiscriminately. The Britannians and the Titans both withdrew, leaving the EDF to fight the monster. During the battle, Nono got stuck to the space monster shortly before it attempted to escape into space, with Dix-Neuf in pursuit. However, Nono mysteriously survived the liftoff, despite being in low orbit with no oxygen, and went on to "Oneesama Kick" the space monster, cracking its carapace enough for Dix-Neuf to finish it off with a Buster Beam.
