Possibility of Rescheduling or Pushing Back Gurren Lagann Finale
Pre-emptive sorry for TL;DRness, but if you're interested in the GL finale, please read this. ._. <3
Alright, so, the GL finale ia a mission I know that a lot of people have been looking forward to. I know I can't make everyone happy, but, and I've never actually had this happen before, I have had a few complaints about the scheduled date (and there very well may be ones that I haven't heard; it's not a great date really), so I figured I'd open up discussion again, at least after explaining how it got to be set when it was.
My hiatus happened, and then I took one more cycle to take a break from running missions because I was, frankly, burned out. I finally am over feeling burned out, and because I had been remiss, I felt I owed it to the game to run this cycle in spite of the fact that Yaoi Con is this weekend.
I thought it would be best to pick a weekend day since that would be the most available to the greatest number of people, and since no canon necessary people ruled out Sunday, I selected that in spite of it being Halloween.
Ultimately, I can do one of four things.
1) Run the mission on Halloween night as scheduled.
2) Postpone the mission for next weekend (running a mission the week after next as well, which is fine by me.)
3) Move the mission to sometime from Tuesday to Thursday (after Thursday this is essentially option 2)
4) Postpone the mission until next cycle (which I'd really rather not do)
I am not going to try to please everyone because I can't, but I've never actually received this kind of feedback on a mission scheduling before, and I realize that this mission is a big event, so I'm trying to be understanding since this weekend itself for a variety of reasons has been less than ideal.
Please note, this is only a forum for discussion of the possibility of rescheduling; as the mission very well may not be rescheduled, if you are interested in it you should still sign up. In regards to the possibility of pushing back or rescheduling, I will prioritize the players for canon characters.
Finally, as for the multiverse labyrinth, if the mission gets pushed back either characters will be off base longer, or the mission itself will be essentially backlogged (like the GaoGaiGar finale) ; feel free to give feed back on this matter as well.
