In the middle of the night, a distress call came from GGG, shortly before contact was lost. When the EDF launched, they were faced with an unidentified silver mech, which told them to "Show me the power of the planet [Earth]." In the brutal battle that ensued, it looked at first as if there was no hope of victory, until General Hauwsr joined the battle in his custom personal unit, the Grungust Type-X. All of the EDF forces cooperated to get the enemy into the firing path of the Type-X's Tronium Cannon, which seemed at first to destroy it. However, the scattered pieces of the enemy mech reformed, and it retaliated with an immensely powerful wave of attacks, debilitating all mechs present, and completely destroying the EDF Headquarters.
