[ After EDF's failure in their last mission, Ryuusei can be found in the base's infirmary. He just woke up in his bed. Pain stung all around his head and face everytime he tried to move, even going down his neck. He kept slamming around in the cockpit when his Gespenst crashed into the canyon; even the impact from the Apalusus' wing was overwhelming. That..was beyond a sim battle. ]
