and the countdown continues...2 weeks!!!!!!!
not too much has been going on around here. everyone is just counting down these last couple work days. it's starting to get kinda sad now that people are starting to leave. this was the first week out of the next 2 that the spring advantage CP's are starting to head home. this isn't like when you leave college in may for the summer and everyone is all sad cause they have to wait until august to see most of their friends. you know they'll be there again in 3 months. but the friends you make down here, chances are you'll never see them again. we all came down here in january, 99% of us not knowing ANYONE else from all over the country, and the only thing you had in common was that you were here. they became your family...spent holidays together, had cookouts, went out to eat, played in the parks, and lived together. you do EVERYTHING together, thinking "ohhh, august is a lifetime away." well now here we are saying goodbye and everyone is wondering where the time went. now it's time to say goodbye to not only your friends, but your second family. we all bitched about the obnoxious guests, laughed about the stupid ones, and cried together when we thought we couldn't take it anymore. so as we head, north, south, east and west...back home, to the people we left 7 months ago we know in the back of our heads, that "yeah, we'll stay in contact, but the chances of us ever seeing each other again, is slim."
this will probably be my last update until closer to my departure date since i will literally be working like a dog the next 2 weeks. it's bedtime so my sob story will continue then since i have to be up @ 6:30 tomorrow!
