Life in sweden

Uploaded everything and captioned (mostly) for my 1 month hols already. Omg, the damage was great but I think it has been worth it. I dont think anyone would be interested in my thousands of photos from my 2 week Britain/Ireland backpacking trip, but if you are feeling very sian, here are some snapshots: http://picasaweb.google.com/107372476868390469547/BritainIreland#.
I have so so so much to share,but I think I shall leave those for conversational purposes hahha. because if i type them out, it will take hours. But anyway, I have been in Sweden for 4 to 5 days already. Adapting well and loving all the eye candies here! Although not as many blonde-hair blue-eyed hotties as I expected. ( realise im starting to sound quite grosss ><). But I really dont like the unpredictability of the weather. Because we are beside a Lake vattern ( second largest in sweden), the convection current (i think) makes the weather comparable to a woman with severe mood swings. suddenly, there can be great sunshine and a pair of sunglasses would be required. Suddenly, the clouds will cover the sun and it would POUR. The clouds move so fast too, its crazy. But the people here are really nice and genuine. They really warm the cockles of my heart in the chilly winds.
This is the complete opposite of Singapore, in my opinion. Small-town, surrounded by nature and lots of land space. I live beside a forest of sorts and I think I might fall in love with the nature here very soon....
Induction week is in full-swing and parties are going on every single night of the week. Just attended a beach-themed party tonight. Had alot of fun. Because there are so many exchnage students, its a really diverse and interesting crowd. Very fun. and of course, people are more good-looking here hahha. Since I dont really club in Singapore, I expected myself to be really sian about it. But surprisingly, its turning out to be better than what I expected. Eye-opening experience really. Anyway, the packages of condoms here are really nice! So much so that Xinli just took it when it was offered to her by some stranger, thinking it was something nice hahha.
But things are really expensive sigh and everything is in swedish. So grocery shopping is a night mare to me actually. Like we wanted to get minced pork. In the end, we got minced beef instead, which we realised when eating today. rice is exp too :( Chocolates are cheap so I snack (actually devour)on them when I feel hunger pangs. SIGH, yes I must change this bad habit.
Lessons start tomorrow and thereafter,there will be ANOTHER party. Some toga-themed party and I havent even found my piece of white cloth sigh. Lest you think I am turning out to be some slutty clubber, I only signed up for 2 parties out of 5. So actually, we are considered rather "unenthu" already.
