Let me tell you about my babies' proficiency in love-issues.
So the whole canon sort of starts out when Chibs and Cec are 16 and 15 respectively.
Chibs has by then been ever exceedingly slutty from the age of 14, not giving much of a fuck who he's making out with as long as he is. He thinks it's all fun and games but in reality it's just a way of distracting himself from the fact that he'd like to be loved, but he's terrified of the packaged deal that comes with a stable relationship. He can't cope with the idea.
So sometime at 16 he meets
Tomato, and it starts out as just another face he'll never see again, except that 'Mato actually makes enough of an impression for Chibi to want to see him more.
So they develop a sort of BFF-with-benefits thing, and all is mighty swell.
Ffftt yeah right, until Chibs find another guy, falls head over heels for him, and suddenly doesn't know what to do because he doesn't want to give up either of the dudes, and really there's just drama everywhere and when the dust settles no-one leaves unscathed and nothing is ever quite the same.
By this time I imagine Chibi's probably close to graduating, which he does, and through the magic powers of plot convenience he secures himself a scholarship and is able to attempt salvaging his academic prowess in a neighbouring town. From what I imagine he's barely in touch with 'Mato anymore.
More time passes. Suddenly Chibs' is 20 years old and is all wise and shit. (Well, compared to the 16-year-old boytoy.) Don't ask me how because at this point it's mostly just me musing but he gets back in touch with 'Mato. And there's no sexual tension at all and they're actually able to get a brohood of some sort going again.
Until Chibi one day freezes at the realization that he's in love with Tomato. Since four years. Well shit, "how do I into relationships", not to mention that though he isn't as crazily promiscuous as before he's still quite attached to his flexible sex life and has no idea how that would go down in any sort of boyfriend scenario. And that's not even considering what Tom's reaction would be considering their past.
And from then on I have no idea because reasons.
...and Cecil found himself a boy named
Cael way back in the beginning when he was 15, and he was so in love with him it was off the scales, and it was mutual, and it's a wonder of this world how both of them managed to remain so oblivious about it all for several months considering how useless they were at being subtle. Well Cael managed somewhat but Cecil was just a joke.
But then they got together and from then on more or less lived happily ever after.
...so yeah, asking any of these two for love advice really is a whole new low.
