Headlines that are bugging me today
Some days, Google Desktop is not my friend. Today, some featured headlines that have me talking to myself: "Junk food addiction may be clue to obesity." Really?! How counterintuitive! All this time I was thinking that a junk food addiction was a clue to the whole Jimmy Hoffa thing. "Too much folic acid linked to cancer." Of course it is. Because as a woman of childbearing years, I have heard the drumbeat of the importance of folic acid to my diet since I've been in my childbearing years, so it would stand to reason that I've been exposing myself to greater risk in the name of healthy living all this time.
Now, please note that I've read the articles and I'm not arguing the worthiness/lack thereof of the articles, just saying that I find the headlines annoying.
