Randomness
It's nice that Keith is important at his work... up to a point. He has been pulled into a "day" trip to Brussels this week. Just a quick jaunt to Belgium. I want to go to Belgium. I don't particularly look forward to his flying to Europe for one meeting (he's hardly wild about it either). He's already traveling all of next week to Denver and then Lake Tahoe. Sometimes I like to pretend that I actually have a husband and I'm not just making him up.

Ellie has confiscated my cell phone for lunch. It's either that or she eats my laptop.

Keith and I made very tasty pickles from some cucumbers the Greenbrides gave us. They taste like bread-and-butter pickles and are pleasantly sweet, spicy, and tart.

I've learned another important reason that I need to keep losing weight (stupid baby fat should end up on the baby, not me): Ellie has learned how to pinch my "wobbly bits" and will do so all night long to entertain herself. Any extra flesh is just asking to be pinched.
