So, I left Thursday night around 9:30, 10, and got here yesterday afternoon around 5. I don’t drive, so I was riding shotgun. (We actually do call it shotgun, not because we’re riding with a shotgun, but because it’s shotgunner’s job to keep the driver awake. In some ways, it’s more important than riding in a wagon with a shotgun would have been.)

This reply pretty much sums up Willow as a character for me. I clicked with her early in the series, not as much as with Xander or Buffy, but I still had much love for her quirky character. But as the show moved on, she did exhibit a distinct tendency to rearrange the world to suit herself. It was there from the start but it grew to such proportions over time that by the end, I couldn't get into her any more... That sounds kinda salacious, upon re-reading. Sorry :)
