"On the collective word-count front...Together, we wrote 1,519,501,005 words. That's a 28% increase over last year, when we reached 1,187,931,929 words.
I'll be posting another blog entry this week to help all of us better grasp what 1,519,501,005 words means to humanity, and whether that many words would actually weigh more than a grocery store filled with donkeys (early results point to yes).
The top 10 wordiest regions this year were…
1) Seattle
2) Maryland
3) Germany and Austria
4) Los Angeles
5) Holland and Belgium
6) Chicago
7) Twin Cities (MN)
8) New York City
9) Portland, OR
10) London"
So that makes e feel sort of awesome because I contributed a lousy 55,000 words to that. Buuuut I don't feel as accomplished as I'd hoped. I said I'd finish the story by the end of november and i haven't. I could've done it easily, I had days to spare but after hitting 50K I just got lazy and wrote measle 5K in 6 days time. So while it was epic and rather gratifying, I'm still left a bit unaccomplished.
I'll finish the story over december, I'm pretty sure I can do it, but just a bit annoyed that I didn't make the goal I set for myself.
Oh well, 20K or so more to go.
In non-NaNo related news;
Bought a saddle for Trev (cost 75 dollars, fully mounted, haha) and been working with him and Will they're doing quite good. Also got another little horse to ride called Amber (formerly known as Emma) the little chestnut mare that got dumped on the property. She was originally given to this lady called Mary to ride and have fun wiht but Amber is a bit gree nand a bit naugty, so I'm riding her for now, a few times a week, to train her up a bit and then we're probaby going to sell her and I'll get half the monnies! Which will be good =D
I think we can get 3 K for her, 2,5K at LEAST, so that would mean a clean 1750 dollars in profit clean on the hook since I have no costs on this horse whatsoever. I get driven there and back, Mary pays for feed, worming, farrier and everything an we still split it fifty-fifty. Goood monnies.
