hmmm...remember what i said yesterday about not getting too comfortable?
well now i'm not going to adelphi. i simply don't have the money...i don't know why i didn't look into that issue earlier. we would have to pay 15,000 a year out of our pockets or get obscene amounts of loans, putting me in thousands of dollars of debt. so now it's time for new plans!! i'm going to cape fear community college for a year and then i hope to go to NC state to finish out my bachelor's degree. in-state tuition is SO much cheaper down here than in NJ it's ridiculous. i'm living in my parents house now which SUCKS but it won't be so bad once i get to go away to NCSU. i don't know anyone in this state but that shouldn't be too hard to fix.
moving always sucks, especially when you move against your own will to live back with your parents when all you want to do is get on with your life. but i don';t have much of a choice, so i'm trying to stay positive or i'll risk massive depression.
wilmington is nice though. old-timey peaceful city. no ghettoes.
there's lots of lizards down here. i like them.
